We are excited to introduce our new flagship product, The “WA-234 MONO”, a mono-block amp that extends the use of 2A3, 300B, or 45 power tubes by simply inserting a “key”.

A typical tube amplifier allows you to use only one type of power tube and its substitute with a similar rating. In order to utilize a tube with a different power rating, a circuit re-design as well as rewiring are unavoidable. Here comes the WA-234 MONO, an amplifier designed to accept a 2A3, 300B, or 45 tubes by simply changing a switching key.

In order to switch between these power tubes and alternate between headphone and speaker outputs, we invented 2 types of switching keys – Tube Switching Keys (TSK) and Output Switching Keys (OSK).

Say, you want to listen to a pair headphones with some beautiful sounding 300B tubes, you’d simply insert a 300B TSK and a headphone OSK into the amp. Then, you power on the amp and you are set to go. Later, if you want to share the music with friends thru speakers, you then swap out the headphone OSK and insert the speaker OSK. You therefore have the best of a headphone and a speaker amp in one. What’s more, you can switch between a 2A3 and a 45 tube just to suit your mood at any given moment. To make the WA-234 MONO more versatile, we created OSKs for cathode and plate outputs for high and low impedance headphones.
